FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can every PDF be fixed?
Not always — recovery depends on how badly the file is damaged. Many structural problems can be rebuilt, but severely corrupted content may be unrecoverable.
Why does repair run on a server?
Rebuilding a broken PDF needs a full PDF engine (Ghostscript) that a browser can’t run reliably.
What happens to my file?
It is processed in ephemeral storage and deleted automatically right after the repaired copy is returned.
