Privacy

Privacy by design,
not by promise.

The simplest way to protect your data is to never touch it. DocSignHub is built so your documents are processed on your device and never sent anywhere.

Most tools never leave your device

The large majority of DocSignHub tools — signing, merging, splitting, organizing, rotating, compressing, watermarking, page numbers, cropping, and image conversion — run entirely in your browser using PDF.js and pdf-lib. Those files are never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by us or any third party. When you close the tab, nothing remains. Each tool page states clearly whether it runs in your browser or on our server.

A few tools use our secure server — and delete your file right after

A small set of tools need processing power a browser cannot provide — password protect and unlock, and Office-to-PDF conversion. For these, your file is sent over HTTPS, processed in an isolated, ephemeral workspace, and permanently deleted immediately after the result is returned. We never keep a copy, never inspect the contents, and store nothing in a database. Any temporary cloud storage used for large files auto-expires within a day.

What we collect

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — pages visited, approximate region, and device type. This data contains no document contents and is not used to identify you personally.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your documents, signatures, names, email addresses (unless you choose to contact us), or any file you sign. We have no user accounts and no document database, because there is nothing on our servers to store.

Cookies

Analytics providers may set cookies to measure aggregate usage. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can block these cookies in your browser without affecting the signing tool.
